This mount is one of the funniest in World of Warcraft. A giant mechanical yellow head with large helicopter propeller makes Mimiron’s Head mount very hard not to notice. Two turbines on both sides of the head help it not to drop on the ground. There are also large blue eyes which play the role of the lights, and there is a large laser gun in its mouth. To the right and to the left of pilot’s seat you can see two fuel cans with glowing green liquid inside. Some people say that the head uses radioactive wastes instead of fuel. Be careful!
This flying mech was created using ancient and already lost technologies. Its creator was a gnome named Mimiron created this machine as a part of Ulduar defense system, which should replace Flame Leviathan placed in the entrance. Mimiron’s name was not invented, it was taken from scandinavian mythology. Ancient Legends speak about a giant named Mimir who guarded the Source of Wisdom. But then he was killed and decapitated. Supreme God Odin sacrificed his right eye to bring Mimir’s head back to life and brought it to underground cave near the Yggdrasil world tree. Mimir is defending the well, and its water gives great knowledge to the one who drinks it. But he doesnt let anyone drink the water from it for no reason.
Mimiron’s Head is one of the hardest mounts to obtain. Its drop chance is only 1%. You need to kill a boss – Yogg-Sarom in Ulduar without the help of the keepers in 25-man mode and be very lucky.
